Yay, my last 2 nail polish packages have arrived! And, yeah, I couldn’t handle myself and bought two more of the new Essence polishes. Shame on me… 😉

Here are the pictures:

Essence Color & Go “Boho Chic” >>> peach with gold shimmer and flakies

Essence Color & Go “Ballerina’s Charm” >>> pastel lilac with subtle silver shimmer

1,55 € each in drugstores

Barry M Chameleon Color Changing polishes in “Chameleon Pink” & “Chameleon Blue”

3,99 GBP each on ebay.co.uk

China Glaze “Pool Party” >>> creme neon pink

China Glaze “Flirty Tankini” >>> shimmer pinky-orange neon

3,99 $ each from ebay.com

OPI “Coney Island Cotton Candy” >>> milky pastel peach >>> 5,99 $

China Glaze “Elephant Walk” >>> greenish-grey shimmer >>> 3,99 $

from ebay.com

Orly “Dayglow” >>> white with blue sheen >>> 5,95 $

Orly “Beach Cruiser” >>> cool toned neon pink

Orly “Glowstick” >>> pure neon yellow

both 6,95 $, all from ebay.com

I tried to make a picture of the blue sheen from the Orly “Dayglow” but I had to darken it a lot so you can see:

There you go! 🙂

By the way, pictures doesn’t do the neon ones justice. They look so much brighter in real life than on photos or in videos. I saw so many swatches of these but was actually pretty much shocked when I hold them in my hands after unpacking. 🙂

So much for this Haul…

I found the new Essence polishes! YAY!!!! 🙂

I told you in another post, that Essence is going to discontinue all their Color & Go polishes. They change the formula, the brush and also the bottle size, and they bring out several new colors. So I discovered the new ones in a local drugstore and bought a bunch of them. The have so many pretty fun colors.

Here’s what I bought:

from left to right:

Date in the Moonlight >>> a dusty blue with blue microglitter

Walk on the Wild Side >>> a mossy green with green microglitter

Chic reloaded >>> a purple-grey-green duochrome

from left to right:

Off to Miami >>> a bright coral-y orange

Grey-t to be here >>> a very light grey with pink microglitter

I love bad Boys >>>  a light blue with blue microglitter

Gorgeous Bling Bling >>> a rusty orange with gold shimmer and flakies

And here’s what they look swatched:

l to r: Date in the Moonlight, Chic reloaded, Walk on the Wild side

l to r: I love Bad Boys, Off to Miami, Grey-t to be here, Gorgeous Bling Bling

Sadly my camera doesn’t pick up the shimmer very good. They look even more gorgeous in person.

I will do a seperate comparison post Essence new vs. Essence old soon…

I know Essie had just released this collection in the US. It has been out for a while over here in germany and I have 4 of the 5 colors. So I decided to do a quick review post on them.

So here’s what they look like in their bottle:

From left to right we have: Penny Talk. Blue Rhapsody, Nothing else Metals and No place like Chrome.

And here’s what they look swatched:

l to r: Penny Talk, Nothing else metals, No place like Chrome, Blue Rhapsody

Overall I really love them all! Can’t say anything bad about them. Unlike most metallic polishes those go on really smooth and non-streaky. Maybe we have the advantage of having the wide flat brush over here. They are really shiny even without a Top Coat, they give your nails this “dipped-in-liquid-chrome” look.  The stying quality is also very impressive. I had Blue Rhapsody on for over 5 days without any noticable tipwear or chipping.

I definately give them an A+! If you like the metallic look, then go ahead and check them out!

What would a nail polish addict do, if you give her some money? … Get her junk together!!! 🙂

Essie “Chubby Cheeks” >>> 7,95 €

Zoya “Tru” >>> 5,99 $

Zoya “Kendal” >>> 5,99 $

OPI “Jade is the new Black” >>> 5,99 $

OPI “I don’t give a Rotterdam” >>> 5,99 $

OPI “Pirouette my Whistle” >>> 5,99 $

OPI “I lily love you” >>> 6,99 $

OPI “Play the Peonies” >>> 6,99 $

China Glaze Crackle “Glam-More” >>> 3,25 $

I purchased all these polishes over the last couple of weeks, and there are still 2 packages on the way to me. I have also already gotten  some other exciting new polishes here at home which are worth doing a seperate post. 🙂

Hope you enjoyed…

I guess I should re-name the blog “The Haul-Pages”… *lol

So here’s another drugstore Haul. All things were purchases over the last couple weeks. Enjoy… 🙂

There we have alllllll the goodies. 🙂 Sorry bout the tacky picture, my camera starts doing weird things with the lighting when I take close-ups lately.

Found the Essence “Snow White” LE. I got those three beauties:

Special Effect Topper “Prince Charming” >>> 1,95 €

Mini polish “Bashful” and “Dopey” >>> 1,55 € each

Essie “Ballett Slippers” >>> 7,95 €

On Sale Essence Color & Go polishes in “Sparkling Water Lilly” and Nude Glam polish in “Iced Strawberry Latte” >>> 0,95 € each (the “Sparkling Water Lilly looks much prettier in person. It is a white pearl color with blue-ish shimmer to it.)

Essence Miami Roller Girl Blush in “Dates on Skates” >>> 2,75 €

Something to say on the blush. The product itself is very beautiful and very good pigmented. But the packaging is clearly the most tackiest and cheapest I have ever seen.

I also bought the L’Oreal Nude Magic BB Cream for very light skin. It was on sale for 8,95 €.

Hope you liked that Haul. I have some more coming up, maybe if I have time to write at the weekend. I’m also waiting for three packages of nail polish I ordered on ebay, so there will be a huge Nail Mail post as well…

Ever since I saw swatches of MUA Eyeshadow popping up on several blogs, I was dying to try them out. Finally I decided to buy one of their palettes on ebay.

I choose the Immaculate Collection, which is a 24 shadow palette, cause that one offered the most oppertunities in trying out colors for me.

Here’s what the baby looks like:

I swatched some of the colors on my finger and the pigmentation is really great. The only colors I wasn’t too impressed with are the matte brown and the matte purple. Those two are so hard pressed, that you barely get some color payoff. Some of the more glittery colors are a bit “crumbly” but overall I really like the palette.

Here are the color close-ups:

Pretty aren’t they? I would have done swatches, but my camera wouldn’t really pick them up that well.

I bought this palette on ebay.co.uk for 11,99 GBP, you can find it and all the other ones by typing in “MUA palette” in the search field.

About two weeks ago I stumbled over the new Essence Ready for Boarding Trend Edition in my local drugstore. There wasn’t much in that TE that really interested me, although the design of the Eyeshadow pallete was pretty cute. The polish colors were pretty boring, the Peel Off Base Coat, I showed you in my recent Haul of Shame was already sold out, so I decided to try out the Lip & Cheek Cremes. And I bought both of them.

Here’s what they look like:

On the left we have “Sending you Kisses”, a dark fushia pink, and on the right is “Beauty on Tour”, a coral peach color. The consitency is really nice, very creamy and not sticky at all. The pigmentation is very good, and they blend on easily and are also buildable on your cheeks and lips if you want a richer color.  The price was around 3 € each.

Here is a “heavy” swatch on the back of my hand:

left: Sending you Kisses

right: Beauty on Tour

My own opinion is that I would rather use them on my cheeks than on my lips, but the only reason for that is, that I don’t like lip products, where you have to stick your fingers in to apply them.

If you can still get them, just go ahead. I think they are a realy good product for the price and worth checking them out.

xoxo Yvi

As promised, here is my nail polish haul! These are polishes I purchased over the last couple of weeks.

P2 What’s up? Beach Babe “Good Lovin'” >>> 1,95 €

P2 What’s up? Beach Babe “Adventurous” >>> 1,95 €

Essence Reday for Boarding Peel Off Base Coat >>> 1,75 €

Essence Color & Go “Blue Addicted” >>> 1,25 €

The Peel Off Base Coat I just bought to try out. Maybe if it works, it would be a good solution for Glitter polishes, since they are a pain to remove. And as a note, the Essence Color & Go polishes are all on sale for 0,95 € now, since they all going to be discontinued by august. Essence is going to change the bottle shape and size and some of the colors, as well as the price. I obviously got mine before the sale.

Essie “Watermelon”

Essie “Sole Mate”

Essie “Bikini so Teeny”

Essie “All tied Up”

each 7,95 €

Zoya “Lotus”

Zoya “Wednesday”

each 10,40 €

OPI “Into the Night”

OPI “Just spotted the Lizard”

each 5,99 $

OPI “Tease-y does it” >>> 8,- €

The “Tease-y does it” I got from a local Douglas store, which is a beauty departement store chain comparable to Sephora over here. Normally their OPI polishes are 16 €, which I think is ridiculous,  but I wanted that color so bad and so I decided to spend that money anyways. So I was pretty surprised, that at the checkout it was mraked down to 8 €, which is a discount of 50 %! Yay! 🙂

Hope you liked my little Haul. I already ordered some more polishes online, so I will have another Haul up in the next weeks. 🙂

xoxo Yvi
